Neurological medicine and surgery are devoted to the care of people with disorders involving the skull, brain, spine, spinal cord, peripheral (general) nerves, and other associated conditions which affect functions of the central nervous system. As neurological surgeons, we are highly trained and experienced in the use of today's most sophisticated technology. We use CT scans and MRI films in the diagnosis of neurological disorders. After our evaluation, very often surgery is found to be unnecessary for a successful outcome. However if surgery is required, a wide range of surgical options are available including microneurosurgery, stereotactic neurosurgery, radiosurgery and other computer-guided techniques. The best treatment plan is formulated to reduce the likelihood of complications, speed recovery and assure the patient of the best result possible.

We believe that ours is a special responsibility, one that requires a close relationship with our patients, the family physician, other physicians, hospitals, and other health care professionals. We share a commitment to keep the patient and family informed about all aspects of the patient's condition and treatment.

About

Dr. Moore began this practice in 1972. In 1975 it was incorporated as Neurological Surgery, Ltd. and Dr Roth joined the practice. Dr. Ostdahl became a part of Neurological Surgery in 1979 and in 1985 they moved into the current office building on Century Drive.
